Hi all,
I’ve made a habit of drinking smoothies. And since I can’t have one daily I made a rule that at least on Saturday morning my breakfast will consist of a uber delicious smoothie. Â And since I could not find Mason jars here in Romania at a decent price, I asked a friend of mine to find some for me. Se lives in Ireland and for 10 euros she got me 4 jars. yeeeyyyy!!!!!! Smoothies are not hard to make. You throw everything in your blender and voila. What I use : spinach, cucumber, forest fruit, Activia yogurt, strawberry, coconut oil and a bit of honey.And since my husband doesn’t enjoy all the seeds I did one for him with bananas instead of the forest fruit.

Mi-am facut un obicei din a bea smoothie-uri. Si pentru ca nu am timp sa-mi fac cate unul in fiecare zi , incrc ca cel putin in fiecare sambata dimineata asta sa fie micul meu dejun. Si pentru ca nu am gasit in Romania borcane Mason la un pret decent am rugat o prietena sa-mi aduca. Ea locuieste in Irlanda si mi-a gasit la 10 euro setul de 4 borcane. yeyyyyyy!!!!!! Smoothie-urile nu sunt greu de facut. Arunci totul in blender si voila. Ce folosesc: spanac, castravete, fructe de padure, iaurt Activia, capsuni, ulei de cocos si un pic de miere. Si pentru ca sotului meu nu-i plac seminetel i-am facut unul cu banane in loc de fucte de padure.
Va doresc o sambata frumoasa orinde ati fi!

This year I’ve decided that I will read at least 12 book. With an emphasis on minimum. 🙂 I won’t be giving any spoilers as I hate those. So in January I’ve read “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton. A book that made me want to find out what happened. And if you have not read it, you must. And just fyi…the ending…OMG!!!! Was not expecting that ending! Great read!
After that I re-read “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer. I book I read before but kinda felt like reading again. No reason in particular. It’s a nice book.

Anul acesta am decis ca voi citi cel putin 12 carti. Cu accent pe “cel putin”. 🙂 Nu va voi povesti despre ce este vorba in ele deoarece eu sunt genul de om care prefera sa descopere, nu sa stie de la inceput. Asa ca in ianuarie am citit “Pazitoarea tainei” de Kate Morton. O carte care m-a facut sa o citesc pana la capat pentru a afla ce se intampla. Si daca inca nu ati citit cartea, trebuie sa o cititi neaparat. Si doar asa ca info…..sfarsitul…OMG!!!!! Nu ma asteptam la asa un sfarsit! Buna carte!
Dupa asta am citit “Gazda” de Stephenie Meyer. O carte pe care o mai citisem dar parca am vrut sa o recitesc. Fara vreun motiv anume. E o carte placuta.

As one of my Christmas presents I asked Santa (my parents) to ring me an electrical tooth brush. And I wanted one from Oral B. After looking for a while I decided that this one would be the best. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s not the most expensive. I wasn’t sure how it would work, but I heard only good things about Oral B electrical toothbrushes.
So once Christmas day was here I was super excited to try it out. And I was in for a treat!! You’re supposed to use it for 2 min. Which I did! And after that…wow!!! I felt like I have my teeth professionally cleaned by the dentist. You know how you feel like you’ve got brand new teeth when your dentist cleans them? That’s how I felt. And they feel cleaner for a longer time. I give it a thumbs up!!!!!!!

Unul dintre cadourile de Craciun pe care i le-am cerut Mosului (aka parintilor mei) a fost o eriuta electrica. Si vroiam una de la Oral B. Dupa ce am studiat putin piata am ajuns la concluzia ca cea din imagine ar fi cea mai buna. Nu este nici cea mai ieftina, dar nici cea mai scumpa. Nu eram sigura cum o sa functioneze, dar auzisem numai lucruri bune despre periutele electrice de la Oral B.
Si cum a venit Craciunul eram super curioasa cum functioneaza. Si am avut o surpriza!!! Trebuie sa o folosesti timp de 2 minute. Ceea ce am si facut. Si dupa……wow!!!!! Ma simteam ca si cum dentistul mi-ar fi curatat dintii!! Ca la un detartraj!! Stiti senzatia aia, parca ai avea dinti noi cand te duci la un periaj/detartraj? Si se simt curati pentru mai mult timp.
Pentru cei curiosi. am gasit si pe emag.
O zi frumoasa sa aveti oriunde ati fi!

I’ve heard, and seen about EOS. And I received it as a Christmas present. It was not available in Romania till recently. But now you can find it on emag. And after trying it for a while, I can say that it’s as good as they say. It keeps my lips hydrated. It smells good, mine tastes like peaches and something else(I just can’t tell what other fruit is there). It’s summer fruit flavored. And it stays on for a while, unlike other products that disappears after you take a sip of water. Price wise it’s not the cheapest(about 6 euros), but it’s worth it. And you get a lot of product.

Am auzit si am vazut despre EOS. Si l-am primit cadou de Craciun. Din cate stiu pana recent nu a fost valabil in Romania. Dar acum se poate gasi pe emag. Dupa ce l-am incercat o perioada, pot spune ca este la fel de bun pe cat spun ei. Mentine buzele hidratate. Miroase bine, al meu are gust de piersici si inca ceva(nu reusesc sa-mi dau seama ce fruct mai e acolo). Si ramane pe buze ceva timp spre deosebire de alte produse care dispar dupa ce bei o gura de apa. Din perspectiva pretului nu este cel mai ieftin (27 lei), dar isi merita banii. Si este destul de mult balsam desi nu pare.

Good morning!
Part of my Christmas gifts was a hair straightener. My old one was not doing its job anymore. So I started looking for a new one. I chose the Remington Keratin Therapy. And I am LOVING it!!!!!! It heats up super fast. In about 10 – 15 seconds it’s good to go. And I’ve never seen my hair so straight. It has a lot of great features: It turns off by itself after 60 min in case you forget, it has a heat protection sensor, it’s plates are Keratin Ceramic (whatever that means 🙂 ) and it comes with a heat resistant mat that turns into a pouch. Also, I really like the way it looks. It seems fancy. I would honestly encourage anybody who is looking for a hair straightener to go for this one.  I’m out of words.

Buna dimineata!
Unul din cadourile mele de Craciun a fost o placa de indreptat parul. Cea veche nu-si mai facea treaba deja. Asa ca am inceput sa caut una noua. Am ales Remington Keratin Therapy. Si o IUBESC!!!!!!! Se incalzeste super repede. In 10 -15 secunde e gata de lucru. Si nu mi-am vazut niciodata parul asa drept. Are o gramada de caracteristici grozave:  Se stinge singura dupa 60 de minute in cazul in care tu ai uitat, are senzor de protectie termica, placile sunt de Cheratina Ceramica (orice ar insemna asta 🙂 ) si vine cu o husa termorezistenta. Si imi place foarte mult si cum arata.  Pare foarte eleganta. Sincer, as incuraja pe oricine isi cauta o placa de par sa o cumpere pe asta. Nu mai am cuvinte.
